Today is pack & repair day since I have the house to myself. I’ve taken over the living room, it looks like my costume closet exploded in here. Chase will be happy to read that.
Anyway, first order of business was to fix a fit issue I’ve always had with my Marie Antoinette hoops. The waist was always way too large, and the top hoops too low. So I took the waist up and shortened the front, making them finally fit correctly and look right! Yay! No more safety pinning it on in the hotel room!
Next up I pulled Belle out to do the handful of repairs that was needed. It wasn’t much – just the flounces were uneven. I decided to try it out on my the Marie Antoinette hoops just for fun, and really liked the way it looked.

So yeah on the plus side that means I dont have to cart the giant hoopskirt AND the Marie Antoinette hoops this year.
If I have time I have a ton more beads leftover from Donna that are going on Belle. SPARKLE
